This set includes 3 parallel spacers for making standard size 7mm pens and includes 4 cones for making larger diameter pens, like fountain pens with barrel diameters of between 7.5 - 12mm. The shaft length is adjustable by means of an additional locknut and Allen key, supplied with the kit, allowing pens of different lengths to be turned, or for two parts to be turned at the same time. An instruction leaflet is also included with the kit.

It is fairly easy to identify which MT size you need by simply measuring the hole diameter in your tail stock. 

MT1 = 12mm    MT2 = 18mm   MT3 = 24mm  (MT1 & MT2 being the most popular).
