Microcrystalline Wax Beads

Microcrystalline produces a clear wax polish which is used to protect wood, stone, leather and metals and is sometimes know, in its paste form, as Restoration Wax or Renaissance Wax due to its use in conservation work. Although it belongs to the same family as paraffin wax it has a finer structure, higher melt point and is more dense and elastic.

 Microcrystalline resists finger marks and adds a water resistant finish to surfaces, helping protect items from damp and humidity; it can also be blended with other waxes to make bespoke polishes.

This wax is also used in candles and as a sculpting and moulding wax.
