Artisan dyes are suitable for applying to new and previously finished wood: for previously finished wood surfaces must be thoroughly sanded back to bare wood.

Made using a quick drying acrylic formula Bolgers Artisan Wood Dye is perfect for woodturning, craft projects and adding individuality to all bare wood surfaces around the home. For best results apply sparingly with a lint free cloth working with the wood grain. As Artisan colours dry within a short space of time colours can quickly be built up by applying additional coats until the required depth of colour is achieved - our image shows two coats applied with a cloth to pine.

To protect the finished colour apply a minimum of two coats of Wax, Varnish or Wood Oil.

Coverage approximately 4m² per 500ml bottle when applying one coat.
